Cote d'Ivoire: Atoukpou Burger, the Ivorian sandwich
Manhéni KOULÉON, 37 years, is a food recipe creator. Through his enterprise, “Speed Miam Service”, he adapts traditional dishes to modern cuisine.
Manhéni is passionate about food and wanted to come up with a dish that is traditional, but has a modern twist to it. This is how he developed the “Atoukpou Burger”, a sandwich made of atiéké (cassava coucous) and served with tuna steak.
“Young entrepreneurs have to give themselves completely for what they really want to do, and don’t be discouraged. They should not wait that someone give millions to them right away so that the project is up and running. It’s impossible,” says Manhéni.
