#Morocco #Madagascar #Breakingnews As the world grapples with a rising wave of Gen-Z protests, hundreds of young people in Madagascar and Morocco took to the streets to protest against their Governments. In Madagascar, protesters voiced their anger over persistent power outages, which often leave homes and businesses without electricity for more than 12 hours. Amid growing pressure, President Andry Rajoelina dissolved his Government. But Gen-Z rejected it and vowed to fight until Rajoelina's resignation. Andry Rajoelina first came to power in a 2009 coup on the back of youth support; ironically, the same youth who rallied for him are seeking his resignation today. Meanwhile, in Morocco, youngsters took to the streets and clashed with security forces as the Government poured billions of dollars into preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2030. This spending sparked public protests, with many young people arguing that urgent needs such as healthcare and education are being ignored in favour of sports facilities. Inspired by similar movements in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Indonesia, the protests led by an online movement known as Gen-Z Mada have tapped into widespread frustration over poor governance, with demonstrators calling for President Andry Rajoelina to step down. #madagascar #moroccoprotest #GenZ212 #MoroccoProtests2025 #YouthInMorocco #HospitalsNotStadiums #morocco #Corruption #JusticeForWomenMorocco #MoroccoYouthVoice #MoroccoNeedsChange #genz #nepalprotest #protest2025 #kenyaprotest #peruprotest #youthonstreets #demonstration #electricity #watershortages #antananarivo #cabinetdissolved #presidentresign #medagascarprotest #unrestinmadagascar #Malagasypeople #RajoelinaResign #MadagascarCrisis #WaterIsLife #PowerCutsMadagascar #blackout #genzprotest #fifa2030 #fifaworldcup #football #soccer #footballfields #rabatprotest #trump #ddindia #middleeast #tiktok #facebook #YassineBounou #ElGrandeToto #medicaldoctor #globalsouth DD India is India’s 24x7 international news channel from the stable of the country’s Public Service Broadcaster, Prasar Bharati.
