Africans Dance the "Free Gbagbo" in Paris -by Issa Nyaphaga
In 2010, in the Republic of Ivory Coast, the U.N. organized the Presidential Election knowing the North was occupied by rebels armed by the current president Alassane Outtara. After a post-election conflict, President Laurent Gbagbo, the incumbent, asked to "RECOUNT THE VOTES" because the rebels (who were still armed) committed fraud and murdered Gbagbo supporters in the occupied territory. Instead on April 13, the French army, ordered by president Sarkozy, bombed the palace of President Gbagbo, slaughtering some 3000 unarmed young supporters (number unconfirmed). Since then, Mr. Gbagbo has been on trial at the International Court in The Hague on the unsubstantiated accusation of crimes against humanity. The charges against him and one of his collaborators, Charles Blé Goudé, have not been proved but Outtara and his guerrillas are in power. This is the Neo-Colonialism we've been denouncing. They are putting the heroes in prison and the criminals in power!
