#Downtown #Kingston #Jamaica Walking through the streets of Downtown Kingston Jamaica on a calmer Sunday afternoon I go the chance to take notice of the surroundings a bit more. A lot of development has happened but there are still ways to go. The streets were a bit littered and there were a lot of old dilapidated building around. Comparing it to New Kingston you could quickly see which part of Kingston has gotten the most attention. New Kingston and the more upperclass areas are referred to us as ‘uptown’. It’s funny though, Jamaica is the only place that I’ve seen so far that doesn’t recognise it’s Downtown as much, downtown in other countries is usually the business district.
